Refund policy

We have a 15-day exchange policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request an exchange.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your exchange is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exchanges and Returns
We want you satisfied!  We will gladly accept merchandise for exchange under the following conditions.  Unless otherwise specified below, your purchase may be exchanged within 15 days from the original purchase date when accompanied by this sales receipt.  The item must be unworn, in the original condition, and in the original gift box with all the warranty cards, explanation booklets, certificates and appraisals intact.  Closeout items, sale items, special orders, consignment merchandise, estate jewelry, completed layaways, modified and/or custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable. Gift certifications and/or gift cards are not redeemable for cash.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Merchandise/Store Credit
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your merchandise, and let you know if the credit was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically credited on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Special Order

Special orders that involve metal, gems and labor furnished by Tyler Ross Jewelers, for a specific client. As such, all special orders are non-refundable and require a 50% non-refundable deposit before the work/order begins.  Every effort is made by Tyler Ross Jewelers to accurately manufacture or produce the item(s) so ordered.  Full payment upon receipt of special orders will denote the client's complete satisfaction.  Minor adjustments, such as ring sizing or texturing, will gladly be made by Tyler Ross Jewelers to accommodate the wearer at either a modest fee or at no charge, depending on the extent of the work involved.  

 

White Gold Enhancement Disclosure
Most white gold jewelry items are rhodium finished, thus giving a whiter color to the completed piece. The rhodium plating is not, however, a permanent treatment and wears off with time.

 

Gemstone Enhancement Disclosure
Gemstone purchasers should be aware that natural gemstones are processed from the time they are extracted from the earth by one or more traditionally accepted gem and jewelry industry practices.  All colored gemstones listed on this sale receipt have most likely been subjected to a stable and possibly undetectable enhancement process to improve color and/or stability.  Such enhancements may include, but are not limited to, heat and irradiation. All relevant information will be readily provided to the best of our knowledge.  Prevailing market values are based on these universally practiced and accepted processes by the gem and jewelry trade. 

 

Cleaning and Inspection
Tyler Ross Jewelers will clean and check the prongs of any item purchased here free of charge.  We recommend that this be done at least twice per year.  While this is a wise precaution, it does not serve as a guarantee against any accidental damage or loss incurred after the inspection. 

 

Appraisals
It is recommended that jewelry over $2,500.00 in value be insured through your homeowners or renters policy.  We can also assist you with insurance through Jewelers Mutual.  Upon request, Tyler Ross Jewelers will give you an estimate of value at no charge on any item purchased at our store over this value.
